Video Encoder Destroyed!
« on: June 24, 2003, 05:50:00 AM »

My xbox made a loud POP!  And then I have no video.  Upon inspection the Conexant Video Encoder chip has a hole blown right through the middle of it!  I've not checked the GPU itself but I, obviously, have no video.   If somebody repairs motherboards or problems of this nature PLEASE e-mail me.

Thanks in advance guys!

if you locked it using config magic then you can just unlock the HD using the password "TEAMASSEMBLY" which is set as the master password when the program locks the drive

can't unlock if i can't see the program.

unless.......
can i use a pc to unlock the hd? since the password is obviously, teamassembly...?  then in turn, with a new mobo, just drop the sucker in and go on about my business right? or no? if not i can put my boy's xbox side by side, and i can wing it, pushing one button at a time.  then i'll have his right there to test it out on.

comments? suggestions?
