Seriously what I think is that no matter how expensize Xenon/X2 will get, M$ will get the same amount of purchases. Everyone will buy Xenon here (Most likely). They could make it 750$ and people would still buy it. Would you? How much would you pay for it?

Isn't it true that any system that came out that cost more than $300, failed? I'm not sure how much stuff like the atari 2600 was and old stuff like that, I mean like the 3D0.

over 300 would be okay if it was worth it, but i doubt it would be much higher quality than the ps3 and that'll have to be considered,. (most people reading this on this site probably got more than their $s worth with the xbox - to most everyone else the xbox is only slightly better than the ps2)

MS definitely considered it when they sold most of the xbox1's below cost to stay competitive,.

MS makes money off game royalties not xbox systems,.

It'll be as low as possible, i'd bet under 300
MS's in a rush on this one, timing is key to successful sales of vg console units.
theyll have to beat/match Sony with the release date to more successfully market xbox2

I think the system is gonna be at least 500 US....it's not that the parts have come down in price, it's the development that is the big cost. The components can be pretty much guaranteed not to be run of the mill, right off the shelf, they are going to custom...

Would I pay that much...nope...will they sell like hot cakes..you bet they will...I still laugh at all the people who got into fist fights over the XBOX when it debuted because supply could not meet the demand... :lol:
People were buying Xboxes and reselling them on Ebay for a nice chunk of change.
