I see today that the french have released another update to the 2gamdash.

I've been following this dash for a while converting it back to english which is pretty straight forward.

One question i have regarding this dash is that i have not been able to install this on a 1.6 xbox.

The same files on any other box with evoxdash.xbe (2gamdash.xbe) put into c: works a treat.  Only the 1.6 models is giving me grief.

Any ideas on why this dash won't work would be greatly appreciated or if simply i'm just doing something wrong.

I'll have a play with it tonight and see if i get any different results.

yeah. i had the same problem on a crystal v1.6 xbox.
it just exit back to main dash

I'm having a couple problems as well - - -

1.  Video modes 480p and 720p show up but I can't select them, whoah, wait a minute, I just went to make sure my ftp settings were correct and they weere, exited and went back to video mode and noticed in the 480p and 720p modes were my selections for ip address and gateway, respectively.  This is just a wild glitch!  So I chose the video modes and it did ask me if my monitor supports these and I chose yes!  Nothing changed unfortunately.

2.  In-game-reset goes back to original ms dash.

3.  Also, is there a way to change the temperature from Celsius to Farenheit?

Also, it looks like there isn't any NTSC support, just pal (language is set at English).

it works perfect for me with X2 bios, but with M8 exit back to the original ms dash

Im using this dash with an iND bios and xenium haven't had any probs.  Has anyone skinned it.  And do you know if they are going to incorperate ambient sounds like tHC.  That's the only thing missing for me.

okey, well its awsome u guys can certainly see how well this dashboard has gotten....but am i the only one with problems here??

okey. i downloaded it from there site. went thru there eng tutorial on there pro config and when i boot it up the box led goes off and it leaves me in a black screen

now my xbox is modded by tsop and is using the X2 bios. i have 3 dashboards and right now i am using unleashedX.

what may be the problem be in my situation?
where exactly should these files and folder be and how should they be executed?

where did you place the dashboard?  It has to be run from the E drive.

Also the .xbe can be anywhere you want it to be except you have to make sure that you edit the config file to point to it.  Use novice incasr you don't like the pro setting.

Im sure your config is not pointing to the correct .xbe

this is my pro config under the system setting

1=Dash2Gam
2=E:
3=\dashboards\Dash2Gam (this is where the dash does a sweep of the HD and looks for the .xbe) I put mine of the f drive
4=2GAM
5=oui
6=50
7=oui

copy the Audio folder from the M$ Dash to your Dash2Gam folder

Yes, there is a new xbe out to support v1.6 xbox's
