I am bit new in Xbox have modchip and same HD Size and i was just wondering if there is a way how to mount over network (SMB) and map it as letter (disk in XBox) and I can play games from network? Is this possible in XBOX? Does anyone know way to do this?

Not possible now. I don't know if it ever will be. The latency and amount of data needed wouldn't really be suited to a LAN connection. But maybe someday. Who knows.

The latency and amount of data needed is enough, maybe it would load a bit slower than form hdd. But it will never be possible. In the same moment you start the game, the SMB server is dissabled because all resources are needed to load/play the game.
And without SMB no connection to your PC!!!

The fact is that the only option to playing backups on your Gamecube involves streaming from your pc. It´s kinda choppy and has alot of bugs in it, but it works. And also it only uses around 2-8 mbit when streaming. So it should work with an XBOX if somebody set their min to it. However, i doubt it. The effort isnt really worth it when you can run a perfectly good copy on your hardrive with no problem.
