It was all working fine when i first installed it and set it to DHCP to grab the settings from my router, but now it still gets all the settings but if i try to ftp to the box then it just says

 Connecting to 192.168.8.5 -> IP=192.168.8.5 PORT=21
 Connected to 192.168.8.5
 Connection failed (Connection lost)


Have tried getting a static ip as well and still it does the same, the router sees the xbox , and xbmc is working fine for ftp-ing.

Tried deleting unleashX and its .xml files and re-installed and i get the same problem.

Any ideas? Does unleashX have settings stored elsewhere? ie the saves dir?

make sure that the max number of users is more than 1 or 2..Um...make sure that your gate way and other settings are correct even though you are using dhcp..manually enter ip address and such.

Tried that, Maually put in the gateway DNS etc etc

When i try to connect to the ftp it does seem to see theres an ftp server there and says 'connected' but then just times out and doesnt do the login sequence.

very weird! Avalaunch,Evox and XBMC are working fine for ftp.

This is really doin my head in! cant think of anything else to try except reformat which i dont wanna do  <_<

The FTP was also working great for me until today.. I can to a list and brows folders but can't upload anything.

Software saies the host disconnected.

Hmm ok it is working, but I can't ftp a file in if the folder is 3 or more levels deep in the file structure.
