Nice script tweaqr. I forgot that ux had this capability. Hopefully this helps out others out there who insist on having format commands in their menu...

I still think the format command should ask the "are you sure?" question. Perhaps it should also have a "quiet" argument so that it can be used in scripts without poping message boxes, but the default should ask. Otherwise, people will get into trouble.

If we never stop under estimating the stupidity of the user... then we would have a dash that is completely useless...

Ya know imagine a UnleashX starts up...
and them prompts..

Would you really like to start UnleashX?     (user answers yes)

Are you sure you would like to start UnleashX?     (user answers yes)

You are absolutely sure you would like to start UnleashX then?     (user answers yes)

The dash is then starting and then it prompts

Would you like to start the ftp server?     (user answers yes)

Your really want to start the ftp server?     (user answers yes)

Are you completely sure you want the ftp server started?     (user answers yes)

ect. ect.

Anyway... UnleashX comes by default very nicely secure and safe...  and if the user is that stupid that he fucks something up by going into a password protected menu and choosing to format from inside there... Well... that user needs to realize that it was a stupid user error and deal with it...

I think it would be best if upon boot up, UnleashX formated all your drives, then prompted you for a password.. then once you enter the password... it shutsdown...  That would be a fail proof system...  laugh.gif
