when i started my xbox today, and tried to start mxm through the audio exploit, it didnt work (i got an 'xbox doesnt work go take it to service-error'). then i put in my mechassault to run linux thru the savegame exploit, mxm starts loading, but it goes straight to loading mechassault again. is there a way to abort mxm loading the game on the tray? if i eject in the middle of loading, xbox boots and i never get to the mxm menu

Well, this is an exploit issue, but MXM will load a DVD (or not) if you set the option in the system menu ("Y" gamepad button).

You may need to reinstall the exploit at this point.
