The FTP problems/freezing problems are probably caused by Avalaunch, not by Qwix. Like I said in the Ava forums, the FTP server is being rewritten from scratch. Expect the new shit to be better

I tried going back to Ava .48.2 (I had it laying around) and it doesn't fix the problem. So I'm not as inclined to blame Ava anymore.  In .48.2 it just says "Load 1 User: Boost Mode Enabled" in a little window, and then hangs.

I upgraded to SP2 recently, but no firewall is enabled. The only other thing is that I bought a new NForce3 motherboard.  I have no idea what is broken, but other FTP programs work fine. Once the girlfriend quits dominating the TV, I'm going to try turning off boost mode in qwix to see if that helps.

Edit: turning off boost mode doesn't work, but uploading to UnleashX works fine (albeit slowly)

turn off cross-linking files and it will work.

Ifixed my prob by making my nichalf duplex fromfull duplex.  Now transfering at 6700 k per sec from 20!
