Giving your location would get you a response from someone local to you.

Although your problem sounds likely to be the beginning of the RRoD.

If it were the laser causing the freezing im pretty sure you would get the Dirty Disc Error message onscreen.

Doesn't sound like its a drive problem more like you 360 is about to die on you. How old is your 360?

I'd say it's around 3-4 years old, my best guess. Really don't want to go buy another one, so will pay to have this one diagnosed and fixed if anyone is feeling froggy  biggrin.gif

Does it do it while playing dvd movies? If not then, then it's GPU and it's gonna RROD soon.
