not so much a bug report, but here goes:

you know when you qwix something to ava, the rss feed goes jumpy, well the same happens with the screensaver- would it not be a better idea to change to another screen along the same lines as the "loading" screen, but a "transferring" screen.

the jumpy screensaver gives you the impression that the xbox is struggling, would there be qwix performance benefits by switching to a less graphically demanding screen?

i never do anything with my xbox when i'm qwixing to it anyway; does anyone else?

not really a bug but i want to change my bootimage.png...where is that file and what size should i make the new image?

thanx alot this is where the new dash is going...it so nice to have bootimge.png on my machine cause i can make a neogeo one :lol:

...here is a trick...you rename your background.png that you use for your dash and rename it bootimage.png and put it next to the ava default.xbe.....now when it boots you see the background and the music hits then everything fades in its sooo sweet

wma playback still has issues with cutting out in middle of songs but it's not a big problem
i can live with mp3 files
course who knows, maybe it's a problem few people have like the x/y/z problem
which is nice to have fixed btw

ok following happened here:

i installed new version (dl´d) and did enable "Avalaunch Auto update"

then i restartet avalaunch
after reboot avalaunch did dl about 700kb of update content (?) and the error message "update error 403" showed up

i rebootet again and got an "update error 404" message

But core version says 0.49.0.2 so that means update worked but showed up error msgs anyway?

edit:received some more "update error 404" messages in the meanwhile

edit2: 1st freeze when switched tru several mp3´s

edit3: those update errors dont appear anymore

im using a static IP
when i scroll down in the skins options something like "download skins" (last option) it hangs and freezes. I dont even press any button simply wanting to select the option it freezes.

could be just me

I'm on 0.49.2, and my Kai username and password are lost every time I reboot? I have autostart Kai enabled, but I can't get it to work.

Great release otherwise. I love the 1080i setting!

Extremely minor, and not really a bug. The "..." at the end of a menu selection usually indicates there's another screen coming up after you select it. For example, the "Download saved games..." brings up a menu with game saves. However, the "Delete UDATA..." option just deletes all UDATA without bringing up any other windows. I expected a list of game saves, but it just deleted everything

. I'll never do this again, but it might prevent someone else from doing it. Also, I'm a big fan of putting elipses after menu items that lead to a list, like "Games..." "Emulators...", but that's just personal preference. Thanks for the hard work!

Not sure if this is a bug, but I have avalaunch installed in the c:\avalaunch dir, and after I did the auto-update, I noticed the file name of the xbe had been changed from dashboard.xbe to olddash.xbe.

I also can't get Xlink Kai to work, but I think i'm just doin something wrong.
