« on: May 28, 2004, 09:22:00 PM »

Hey, i have avalaunch latest version installed, but for some reason i can get everything to work, except for the mediaplayer, does it come with a media player? or do i have to download one and put it in a certain directory?  If so, what mediaplayer and where should i put it for it to work?

I think you are talking about the top menu that says Media Player..... If so it is linked to the Xbox Media Player that you have to find and put it where the .xml file has it linked. I put mine in the F:Apps folder and then had to show the xml file where it was. Hope this helps

I havn't used either much, but Media center is the one most people seem to like more and if I am not mistaken, it is the only one that will have future updates.

yea that's very true.  XBMC is the most popular and the most feature packed.  New builds are very frequent as well.

xbox media center is really the only media player currently under development and being supported.

xbox media player was the predecessor and was retired a few months ago.
