Automatic Updates
« on: April 24, 2004, 12:13:00 PM »

It's been "Looking for last version" for quite awhile now.  I think it locked up.  Where can I get the current version otherwise?  I got this dash (0.48.4) from a friend a couple months back.

Also, the FTP wasn't working right until I turned off the RSS feed and screensaver.  My only other gripe is this:  Is it supposed to use the X and Z cache?  That makes Halo hacking kind of problematic.   Does a newer version address these issues?

Other than that, I've really loved this dashboard.  Especially since Evox released that new buggy piece of shit version.

The update server has been down for a while now.  won't be back up until the new version of ava comes out.  you can get ava from #xbins on efnet though.

And there isn't a fix for the cache thing. (that I am aware of)

Is there any way to exit out of the auto-update after you started it?  I tried to do it last night and it just hung so I manually powered off the xbox.  I'm assuming because it's down since there isn't an update.

you just have to kill the power like you did.  They didn't put a timeout in, that might be fixed in the next version also

If Avalaunch could use a folder on the E:\ Drive, it would be useful.

Edit:For Cache
