I think its good, but I kinda see no point to the Kinect and its sports games, by this I mean why play tennis on the Kinect, when you can play it in real life, for free.

Tennis is by no means free. You need shoes, a racket, a ball, and a court.  tongue.gif

we preordered the bundle with release day shipping from amazon. i am sure it will get a price drop by e3 and then we will buy another. if they add cross-platform windows7 compatibity that would be so cool.

From what Microsoft have said, it wouldn't work in the room where I have my 360 set up anyway so I'm out whether I want it or not. I think it's going to nose dive into bargain bins/see a substantial price drop within months regardless. When they hit £20 I'll try it out  laugh.gif . Controllerless gaming doesn't appeal to me. I prefer to have something to hold and give real time feedback with buttons triggers etc for precision. This is something I think Microsoft have overlooked and Sony/Nintendo have picked up on.

I've been very impressed with Move on the PS3 and I reckon I'll pick that up before Kinect. I had a lot of fun playing Move with friends and could even see myself playing it solo too. The tech works really well and there's no need to have a soundstage setup in your living room like with Kinect. IMO Move is also a lot more reasonably priced for what it is too.

For now I already have a Wii (which I love) and a PS2 with an Eye Toy for my motion and controller free gaming  cool.gif .

I kinda hope they break a lot so I can buy two on ebay for $20 and combine parts.
I'd love it if FSD and other homebrew could support it.

So I guess that means you're never going to get one. FreeBoot is dead, XBR is dead.

Ease down on the pessimism. Others will probably step up to the challenge.
