wheres linux for pc? windows is a piece of shit, i voted xbox 360 blades

windows= crappy, virus infested OS, with preset builds

linux=OS that can handle processors better, and 100% customizable

I have to go with PS3 XMB,  I like the way it looks, it's fast and easy to navigate, and has great potential for expansion in while still remaining fast and easy to navigate.

Xbox 360 is a bit slower than ps3 in to navigate.  And I think expanding to would make it even slower.

Wii doesn't really have much substance yet, and I like High Def menus which Wii doesn't have.

It makes no sense to me to compare the consoles OS with Windows though.

I gotta agree with Marrvia on this one.  I like having all my options right there on one screen without having to navigate through a mess of windows to get there, which is basically what the blades are about, as nice looking as they are.

I believe "Windows" refers to a mouse/window based interface not Windows the operating system. OSX and Linux are style window based OS interfaces.

the question was OS _LAYOUT_ not the OS itself.

I like the PS3's XMB the best. It's easy to navigate and has plenty room for expansion and still be fast and easy to use. The 360 blades are also nice, but take a bit longer to go through them.

I chose the PS3 XMB because it is simplistic. When I want to do a task, like play a game, or listen to music, it's right there on the bar. Also it's the same as PSP, and those consoles work well together. Yes I realize the PS3 dashboard is full of limitations right now.

360 Blades are good and all, but they're full of advertisements. It's like my Verizon phone.

I'm sick and tired of the screen tearing on the blades, that makes the console look like crap and buggy... sad.gif

Don't get me wrong i love my xbox 360, but i think that it is lame that the OS still does that after all this time.

I like the blades, I'd say it's definitely the best thing I've ever seen on a console.  As far as Windows, yeah it's in  a category with Linux and Mac, it doesn't fit on a console, and console type interfaces don't fit on PCs.

I voted the 360 blades, they are the best. I like XMB too, but only when it's on a low-resolution/small screen like on the PSP. It just doesn't somehow fit on the PS3 because the resolution is "too big" for it.
