I have two PS3 and both are not working properly.
The first I bought was defective out of the box. I cannot get it to recognize when I plug in an ethernet wire and it doesn't pick up any wireless networks. Also the bluetooth doesn't work and if I have something plugged into the USB port the PS3 freezes on boot. I get an error code when I start it up, but I have contacted Sony about this error code and they do not know what it means.
The second I got from a friend and the blu-ray drive doesn't work on that one, and by this I mean it doesn't recognize when you put a disc in the drive.
What I am trying to do is take the working drive from PS3 A and put into PS3 B. Is this possible? Is there any hope for PS3 A?
PS3 A = Original defective PS3 (Model #: CECHL01)
PS3 B = Friends PS3, broken drive (Model #: CECHG01)
