Ahhhh crap. I knew someone would beat me to it! Oh well there had to be 1 more person out of those 80,000 people to take pics of the insides. Damn you mastagamer muhaha.gif  muhaha.gif ! I wanted to be the first! :crys: lol Im still gunna be the first to make a tutorial on how to pull it apart!

Anyway, enough of my bitching, Looks like sony stuck with the craploads-of-ribbon-cables idea. And i dont quite understand how the cooling system works. I looks a bit confusing. But still very interesting.

I think the PS3 might come close to the gamecube for having the most interesting insides.

They still have a loooong way to go to make the insides neater.

EDIT: Wait.....WTF, they actually put the Emotion Engine in the PS3? I knew PS2 games would be hardware emulated, but the actuallly have a PS2 in there. Damn. Lol every time I look at the next page and se more pics I have to write more lol. Hmmm the have the 4 RAM chips actually sitting on the RSX chip. Very interesting design. Lol it looks like the PS3 wont have RAM cooling problems like the 360 lol

That looks cool inside. It reminds me of taking apart a ps2 with all those ribbons and having everything so closely put together though. I like the way the xbox is put together better though.

After looking at the PSU picture again it looks bigger than I first thought.

This appears to be measuring power.  Looks like 191 watts?  If so, more than the 360, but not nearly as high as the 380 everybody was assuming.

Im starting to think this 380W power supply can supply 380W PEAK. Which is very, very different to continuous. That PSU has a shitload more components on it compared to the PS2 PSU.
