hey i lifted a pad when moving a capacitor on the ps3 controller.  its the large one on the left benieth the red wire

here is a pic:

i only lifted the - pad so can i solder a wire from another - spot on the controller

EDIT:

is it even needed?  can i just leave it missing.  the controller turns on ok w/o it

Yeah, wayyy too blurry to be able to really see anything.

If you got in close.. Instead use the zoom on the camera and stand a few feet away, works much better.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

its the grey cap on the right.  on my controller its - sides pad has come off.  what can i do

i think i should actually open my controller and look at it before i say anything (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ......i need to add a led anyways

not trying to be mean but that pic is still a little hard to see too

i asked rdc and he sed it duznt have to be there but it is good to have it there.  i think i will just scrap it...  im not that great at soldering so i will probably damage it more by trying this
