Playstation 3 Weird Issue

hi all a have a 60 gig ps3 it sometimes comes on takes about 5 mins for a picture the it freese when i click anything usally it just asks for time input then freeses i have changed the compound on heatsinks to artic silver i have also checked hdd on another unit any help please
