It isn't fair to say that Sony's last minute rip-off attempt at answering Nintendo's revolutionary controller, is copying.
Sony's controller is just that, a last minute effort in Sony's part at attempting to steal Nintendo's idea.
But 6 degrees of motion sensing by no means is on the same level of what the Wii's controller can do.
Basically the controller isn't going to revolutionize game design but expect developers to use it as a gimmick for games that can otherwise play the same way in any console.

There used to be a PS Pad called the "AirPad" which worked using tilting, it was rubbish (esp for those who lean when playing games - you know who you are!)

I certainly hope they add the ability to turn that tilting crap off.  If i wanted to sit up strait, with good posture and all, I would join the military.  I want to play games, slouch and lean a bit.  Damn would suck if my in game character is always leaning to one side or the other.

For the Warhawk demo they had last night, you had to hold down the R1 button to be able to use the tilt sensor, otherwise you could just use the joystick to control it. I'm sure thats what most games that even use this feature will have.
