i think that was the wired one and he also had the wireless one.........again copying MS.

wii not doomed

the price difference is huge

i felt sick when i saw that guy play warhawk(looked hard to play also)
the wii-mote will feel just like a joystick for a flying game

nintendo didnt take out patents i beleive

all they showed were videos of people moving around a remote. nothing else. so that whole movement sensing technology is an open market


(what would really be funny if the nex-gen consoles were sued for putting hdd's in consoles and not pc's )

I can't believe Sony had the cheek to say their new controller is innovative! Ignoring the obvious comparisons with the wii controller, MS released a sidewinder control pad for the PC years ago which had this functionality! http://www.amazon.co...0004Z729/103-96 55422-5521442?v=glance&n=172282

I found the graphics to be quite poor.  Even on the 360 launch it seemed the games were a bit more polished with graphics that show off the system.  I found these games to be a bit "old" in technology.  The only thing I took from the conference was that one hell of a controller, regardless of whos idea it was.  I wish I had that controller on my 360.

Lastly 500$ means its not lil johnny's console anymore.  But more for the college grad.  Dont forget u hafta buy a HD tv to take the graphics to that level as well. +++++$

Nintendo does have patents on their controller.

What sony has put into their controller is just a gyroscope, it is nothing like the Wii controller. All it can sense is tilting, not distance, direction, or anything else the Wii controller can sense.
