hello i heard you can play back ups on an external hdd for the ps3 if only and only if the files/folder are smaller then 4gb. i have mlb 10 the show.  i have three folders i dont know which one to split. i am using hj splilt.  i am thinking that even if you split the files wont it still come out the same size?? is there a certain file or folder i should be splitting?  i tried splittling a file yesterday and it turned out to be larger then smaller after being split.  can some one help me out with this?  i am only trying to play off a external hard drive casue i have the small ps3 20gigs and its like filled up with two games on it.
