BBC hints at iPlayer on the PS3 'in due course'

I never heard of the iplayer until these recent articles. Is it more than just news? What is it, another form of youtube?

You can watch most/if not all of BBC's shows. However in the UK you need a TV License (something they need to change since rest of world is free).

Imho the Wii has a native application so I read so why should BBC skimp on a crappy browser web page for PS3.

I don't think it is available yet. It should be soon though, if it isn't.

Or you can watch them live the first time round. They should call it the BBC repeats player. Shame the PC version is unstable let alone any other.
