i actually am a fan of the IGN name for it (the wii-mote)

that controller you posted about though, i'll admit it looks ugly, but it does look very functional and comfortable. i just wonder if the wii is going to ship with all of that stuff, or what it will come with as far as controller stuff goes.

on a side note there is a lightgun shell for the wii-mote for duckhunt/duckhunt sequel

Well, if you've seen their E3 presentation, you'll quickly realize there's absolutely nothing "revolutionary" about this console. So the name change is more than appropriate.

Personally, I think if they kept "Revolution" as it official name, it would have become the butt of jokes.

Actually, fans came up with the name, IGN helped it stick. Before it was Wii, it was called the revmote, then changed to wiimote.

Only thing they did wrong was the thumb sticks. I HATE the joysticks being on the same level, like the PS2

so those are the new controllers??? i thought it was that remote and the sensor joystick type deal, u would look like a retard using the older style stuff, dont know what they are keeping but i sure as hell wanna play zelda lol
