Whats up people,

Just a heads up that you must upgrade to 2.0 to play. This not necessarily bad since you could always go back but no loader/version change works with the game. I just bought it and the game rocks. but just a heads up on this.

I believe it works when playing off UMD with Version Changer!

Nope, people have tried every emulator, version changer and everything else in between. Trust me when I say that if I wouldnt have had to upgrade to play I wouldnt have, but I have downgraded from 2.0 before so no biggie. Just have to give up other games for a while, the game kicks ass though so I really dont mind. I have been waiting for this since the launch of the psp. you could even use custom sndtrks.

Not saying that, just stating that as of right now, you have to upgrade to play the UMD. If you choose to wait for a iso and a crack then you will have to wait to play. I for one love the GTA series and see no harm upgrading as I have downgraded a couple of systems before. This game will own my psp for at the minimum the next month.

there's 2 reasons gta won't run with ver. changer. one is 2.0 has codecs that gta uses and the ver changer cant compensate for that, and the other thing is something that has to do with security keys and the steps they are exacuted in being different or more of them under 2.0 FW. sorry but i forget the details or where i read them

We will still have to wait a few more weeks.... This isn't an easy to crack game.
