« on: January 28, 2004, 08:26:00 AM »

i have been trying to get my pc to give me a selection of which os boots on each harddrive i have win 98 on one and xp on the other.
i have done this before but cant seem to do what i did before i have tried jumpers but get only the ability to access a harddrive from one to the other via my computer.
do i need  to configure jumpers or is it ide cable location i tried this too but had no luck.

if i set one to master its os boots and i can access the slave via my computer yes i see both i just cant chose which boots only by changing jumpers. i done this before by accident it gives you  30secs to select which drive you want to boot from

And the 30 seconds is the timer for choosing OS's. When it runs out, it will boot the one you ontop of. I have mine set to 3 seconds.

Althoughm I only have one OS, different boot screens.
