I Need A Slot 1 And Slot 2 Device (i Think)

The best Slot-1 solution is the DS-X, in my opinion. There is no expandable memory, but there is more than enough space for me (about 15 apps), even on the smaller version. It boasts the best link play compatibility.

Here is a quick comparison chart.

This is a decent deal worth checking out right now. You can get a Slot-1 and Slot-2 together, with motion control.

Any Slot-2 will run GBA backups. Just make sure that your Slot-1 has the capabilities to passthru to that particular card. Some work better with certain brands.

Well, yes and no, you do need a slot 1 for a minute, you can easily flash firmware to your ds so that it no longer requires slot 1 adapters at all, merely a game present for the sleep function.  I personally recommend this route with a super card lite, for me it's the best of all worlds, the Slot 1 is overrated, and expensive to deal with, compatibility is *barely* better on a slot 1 adapter than on a super card, and the games that aren't compatible for the most part are crappy games.  there is a tutorial available on you tube and via google to perform this.  If you are uncomfortable with the whole idea then I would say go with both.  It's all up to you and if you want to void your warranty or not.

Before you buy any device, even the DS-X, go to the manufacturers website. From there, read their forums, as well as unbiased forums, and research the product. If you decide you want it, buy from that manufacturers suggested resellers list.

Cross reference the reseller with http://resellerratings.com/

As Everest said, the SuperCard is reputable for Slot-2 devices. You can get expandable memory for them if you like.
