i guess this is why liberals strongly opposed the call for reforming our voting system. they claimed it would "alienate the poor minorities" (which is a stereotype in itself, by implying that minority == poor), but really, it just leaves the backdoor open for their corruption.

on a side note, are they a bit worried about their chances of winning the election? a truly confident person wouldn't see that as necessary to get their man in office.

But, you are stereotyping too. You are lumping those 2 people into the group "Liberals." The action of those 2 does not make up the mentality of the whole. The same could be said about Republicans because of what just happened in CA.

those really dont reflect badly on the part IMO, they just pay the companies X amount of money for each person they register, so can you blame the guy on the street for trying to get as many names as possible?

besides party affiliation is meaningless, my grandmother is registered as a democrat but hasnt voted dem since 92, im registered as a communist but tend to vote republican, lol

Actually it does reflect poorly on them, when you pay someone to what turns out to break the law. They paid people to break the law. Plain and simple

they don't live in that district any more, and as a result technically aren't entitled to vote there anymore. counting their vote is letting our system be gamed, and is voter fraud. the exceptions would be states that have laws on the books that explicitly allow people to vote within X days of foreclosure. contrary to what "one expert" thinks, this is clearly a viable reason to question a persons voting eligibility.

they paid people to register new members

lets say you pay someone to patch your driveway, and he goes and steals concrete and some trowels from a construction site and uses it to fix your driveway, in this scenario, how guilty are you?

it was my understanding that the way the acquired the foreclosure lists, and how they planned to use them, were illegal

that said, i see nothign wrong with going 10mph over the speed limit, but its still against the law



all in all as far as i see both parties use equally despicable means to get in office, thats why i vote based on what they do (or at leats promise to do in some cases) when they are in office
