I think it's great how they busted this guy. I just wish the press didn't always say "HUGE BUST OF MODDED CONSOLES! TAKE THAT YOU FILTHY, FAT, ANIME-WATCHING, ZIT-FACED HACKERS!" and then have a little note at the end "also seized were 500,000 pirated game discs."

Well id just like to say, what a load of shite propaganda this is by the trading standards > elspa > console companys.

Its quite obvious this guy was busted for selling counterfit software (i.e. games / disks) etc etc, and the chipping side of things was just a bonus plus the fact they may of stumbled on a large haul of consoles luckily for them to make a nice headline out of it.


You know what pi$$`s me off , the fact that they make out like its some sort of big sting operation, where large numbers of there best men are on the case for weeks collecting evidence, infiltrating these drug dealing, kiddie porn peddling, terrorist scumbags and then getting a big bust in.........................................................................when in actual fact they could just walk into bowlers computer fair on any saturday they like and shut down in one instant, without any investigation, or drawn out evidence gathering operation the largest `modchipping`  event in the whole of the north of england.

thats any saturday, @ bowlers, in manchester, people chipping right infront of there eyes, upwards of 30 stalls.


do they bust these?  no........why?  maybe because they are not selling counterfit games.
