Climate Changes

Yah 1/3ish of iceburgs are above water, but that means 2/3ish are under. And so the water from the top that when melted would join the ocean will be more than cancelled out by the water that decreases that is already underneath the ocean level. Plus, add the fact that the majority of ice has air bubbles trapt inside of it that will escape if it ever melts, thus lowering the level even more. Lol I dont even know if this makes sense after reading it but its the only way I can explain it.

There are arguments that it is overrated and arguments that the effects on sea level will be measured in feet not inches. Reading this article just furthers my idea that nobody has a clue. There is no way currently to measure ice sheets.

It looks like we can put the man made or natural argument to rest and focus on becoming greener and adapting to our changing climate.

"Climatic changes seen around the world are "very likely" to have a human cause, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has concluded."

I don't think there's anyone against not being slobs. Trying to convince people to clean up is not going to work though, because the people that do will and the people that don't, won't. "Very Likely" is not conclusive, so we actually are no closer to putting anything to rest. One thing we MUST do, no matter what measures we choose to take with cleaning up, we cannot cost our manufacturers money in doing so as they will relocate to somwhere less concerned with the environment. Look up the definition of "climate". You nor anyone have seen anything similar to a "climate change". You have seen a variance from the average weather pattern. This happens in cycles and is not uncommon throughout history.
