Seriously, Pucksr, I really think you have to stop getting personal of what people have to say and stop jumping into conclusions.  Just because when someone thinks that in certain instances, 'black activism' is overrated in his/her opinion.  However, it does not mean that person is hateful toward blacks or is a racist.  The only thing you know about me is my opinions in this forums and that is it.

The point though is not out of the grasp of pug_ster, he just offended me with his callous view of murder.

QUOTE
im not sure if pug_ster is a racist, but he is definately in need of some therapy.  So i rag on him.

1) This sounds like a personal attack statement, doesn't it?

QUOTE
From the attitude of his posts, i would consider him to be hateful of black people.

2) And you said I wasn't a hateful person.  And I wasn't hateful of black people because I have mentioned that I have black co-workers which I respect including my boss.

QUOTE
I cant exactly understand the reason or the extreme of it however, so i would refain from being too accusatory.

3) This is the funniest one.  I don't know how did you conjure up my 'psychological' profile based on what I said in this thread but you seem to have a very vivid imagination.

My view simply claims that language is subjective, not objective.  Your view gets very specific and makes an accusation.  This may even be a true accusation, but you are still treading on dangerous ground.  It gets especially hairy when you decide to use a particular instance as an example of "playing the race card".  Your example specifically had a young man murdered because of the color of his skin.  You say that he "was up to no good", but you dont elaborate on what he was doing.  You also seem to think that him being in an all white neighborhood was reason enough for him to be murdered.

And now you said that it is my fault because I didn't say that earlier otherwise you wouldn't come up with your twisted conclusions?  That is why you have a false premonition that I am a racist just because I don't agree with most blacks on an sensitive issue of race.

But the fact that you differentiate between them is solely based on race of victim.

No, i think i was clear.  I think your a racist for different reasons.  I think your are a "callous asshole" due to your lack of compassion.  Im sure your lack of compassion for human suffering is all-inclusive.  Im sure you dont care what color their skin, you just dont care if they die.

No matter what you say, the first time you see someone you IMMEDIATELY brand them, it's un-intentional and occurs on a sub-concious level. So to some extent everyone is racist, however it is how you then hande this... Don't take a book by it's cover and all smile.gif
