The Dollar Is Plunging To New Depths...
« on: December 02, 2004, 05:58:00 AM »

With China and Japan withdrawing support for the dying American dollar, and selling bonds (Asian countries own about a quarter of the world's US dollar reserve) the US dollar is diving faster than a Russian nuclear submarine. wink.gif
Today I just made a superb profit selling currency in an Asian market with a pegged to US Dollar market price. Enough to buy 100's of Xboxes!!! wink.gif  laugh.gif  biggrin.gif  cool.gif
So...how low can it go? Will China repeg it's currency and dump it's dollar reserves, in which case the US economy will be screwed! unsure.gif  uhh.gif
Will the US allow the dollar to shift into new negative territory to fund it's "war on terror" and GWB's tax cuts for the rich  tongue.gif  laugh.gif ?
Will anyone in the US have a job by 2006? blink.gif
Is China the new world economic superpower in the 21st century - 'cause it surely aint America!

Yeah, I guess the last people who admit there's was a problem is the people who work at the Bush Administration.

BTW, so what did you do?  you brought some Yen and sold it off today?

Yay! Nearly 2 dollars to the pound.  Now's the time to import a whole load of stuff from the US or from HK sites that sell in US $!

Now if only I had some money...

Lol thats tight when that happens, whenever I go to the US, we always buy money a few months before, depending on when the best exchange rate is, don't leave it till the last minute wink.gif

And for those who are from the UK, you already know how great a country this is, and well, other than the dollars that we spend, its mostly the same.... Bunch of Canucks or Brits or Scotts, sitting in their pubs drinking REAL beers.... No watered down crap...  lol...

Well it is ours afterall.

I've got nothing against Canada (hence the use of a  wink.gif smilie) just as long as you don't beat us at sports, its just a pity about the number of French.
Btw, I'm English and therefore all for a [slightly] weaker US dollar.
