I believe there is no life after death.

I also believe those who do believe in life after death wants there to be one, to the point where they convince themselves that this must be the case, that a life just can't end.

Let's face it though, it doesn't really matter how much you want there to be a life after death.

We get 80 or so years on this planet, just be greatful for that and make the best of the time, instead of trying to alter reality by wanting it to be different.

I voted yes, but I think that there isn't life after death-per se.  I think there is definitely something after we die, but I don't know what.  

Whatever it is, I'm pretty sure that nothing that we experience in this life can prepare us for it.  

Alot of people assume that there exists nothingness simply because when you close your eyes everything is black, but we also dream when we close our eyes too.  

You know, the mind is a powerful thing too.  At death, it's one of the last things in the human body that continue processing with a sudden spike in brain activity.  I like to believe that spike might have something to do with a transfer of energy maybe?  A backup?
