I don't think there are many people here that listen to good music. I mean, the first response in the "Best Song Ever" thread was an Avril Lavigne song. Ugh.

Anyway, Elliot Smith is/was pretty good. I heard they're releasing his final album soon.

So they are finally releasing his last album a year after he stabbed himself? Or are they just putting together previously unrealsed songs?

Can't wait for Elliott Smith's new album.  I heard it's out on October 19th, though there's also reports of it coming out sometimes in September.

Supposedly this is the tracklist:

"King's Crossing"
"Ostriches & Chirping"
"Twilight"
"A Passing Feeling"

"A Distorted Reality is Now a Necessity To Be Free"

I think Smith was working on a new album, but the album might contain some of his older songs that didn't make it onto previous albums.

it's going to be such an amazing record. they released "Twilight" off of it and it is amazing.
