1080p/screen Size Questions..
« on: December 19, 2007, 01:54:00 PM »

it's absolutely true...

unless of course you
A. have super human vision
or
B. sit within 2ft of your screen.

fact of the matter is at normal seating distance and slightly better than 20/20 vision you'd still have to have a display in the 60" range before your eyes would be capable of noticing the difference between 720p and 1080p

I never knew that. I know that this has nothing to do with this conversation, but I personally like Samsung. I think and have heard that Samsung has better tv's and higher quality pictures. It may be a myth or rumor or whatever, but I would personally go with a Samsung. tongue.gif

i can tell you that there is a definite and clear difference at 70"+ between 720P and 1080P but even then you need to get closer than the recomended 13'+ range to see those differences.
