hey all, i'll be buying a 360 this summer, along with some type of widescreen HDTV. i'd been looking at larger 32" and 27" panels, but these are a little out of my price range(<=500 bucks) and dont have impressive contrast ratios. But, ive seen some 22" Widescreen LCD monitors in best buy salespapers, that boast a 3000:1 contrast ratio, along with a 5ms response time. they pack D-Sub and DVI connectors, and sell for around 300-350 bucks. But, nowhere in their description are the words High Definition, 720p, or anything that indicates usage for something other than PC display. for reference, here's one i have my eye on.
http://www.bestbuy.c...d=1170289357904would that yield better quality than a 27 inch set with 720p, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 8 ms response time? im only sitting 5 feet from my current tv, so big isnt really needed. what do you guys think?
edit: yeah, i'll be buying a VGA cable.
