nice tut. i have just gotten into photoshop and it helped me learn how to do animation.

is that CS3 extended?

oh, not to sound like a noob but how do you add a shadow to a whole image as a whole like this:
(this is Areohbe's from another thread. he only added the drop shadow and white border)

you use my drop shadow mini tut....

but you create a canvas...and put the image in smaller than the canvas and add a drop shadow with and invisible bg...like the 2 tuts i made at the beggining... screenshot..



see how the image itself does not fill the area

ok thanks. i didnt think about making it with no BG and then adding it.

o, i have CS3 and image ready doesnt come with that? is that a necessary step for animated .gifs? from previous tut?

thats what areohbe posted...you don't need imageready to do animes...i have cs3 and image ready didn't come with mine either

thanks a bunch guys. wiki said CS2 was the last version of Photoshop to come with Imageready. now its replaced with Adobe Fireworks.

o BTW your tut site is really good.

And I don't get any credit for the original design without the border or drop shadow  .
