Giving some serious consideration to an old 240Z.  Just curious if there is a site with detailed mod options both for the stock engine/tranny and for a swapped in engine and tranny?  Anyone know of one?

anyway i think you might want to check out

the forums on Hybridz.org

the forums specialize in engine swaps and conversion (V8's are a big thing there)

they also have smaller forum sections on paint, kits, drivetrain, wheels, chassis, welding, misc tech, and engine troubleshooting

hope thats kind of what your looking for

I've been wanting to get me a 280z and throwing an LS1 in it. If I find a nice enough one i'll definately do it.

This is a good forum I use, it's filled with some pretty knowledgeable people:
http://www.zcar.com/

And this is a good site to start looking for aftermarket stuff:
http://www.zcarparts.com/

There is a 240 in my area in really good condition and I am giving serious thought to it.  Part of the reason being that I would be exempted from air emissions so I would have alot more freedom with what I can do to the thing.  *EDIT* Damn, there is a guy on that zcar site who swapped a R33 Skyline GTR engine into his 240, that must've been a hell of a task.  Car must be fun to drive and it is dead sexy.
