2007 100 Acre Wood
« on: February 26, 2007, 10:40:00 AM »

So this past weekend was the 100 acre wood, the second stop on the rally-america championship. This was my third year as a marshal and it was a blast. Both other times I went it was dry and somewhat cold, this year it rained all day which gave it a new twist as roads were much more slick and drivers did not hold back.

I am still working on getting pictures but for now here are a friend's pics

yea, i know smile.gif

I am entering next year, just need a car.......

its only $400 but you can only use a 2wd car your first time for some reason.

I saw a saturn enter so I figure why can't I enter something. Me and some more mechanically inclined friends are looking at doing a RWD conversion on an older z24 cavalier. We shall see.

I'm working on getting more in action pictures

Rally-Americas website just posted some pics of the event:

While the entering cost isn't overly expensive, once you add car, plus required safety mods, plus registering as a driver it may be more expensive than you think. I was looking into running the Maine Forest Rally. Couldnt justify the money though. I did get a lot of pics from the last years event though.
