A few years ago, I went from 336 pounds to 277 pounds in 3 months with nothing but diet and exercise.
I haven't taken any medication for diabetes since then smile.gif

Besides feeling better about yourself... the most important thing is that your diabetes is starting to get under control. Be careful though and make sure you take whatever supplements they instruct you to take.

Also, if you don't change your eating habits... you'll gain the weight back in a few years so be VERY careful. Consider this a new lease on life and make sure you don't mess it up smile.gif

right on atlantamods!  keep going...

i've lost 80 lbs and 8 inches in my waist in the past year & 1/2.  i also was able to get off of my blood pressure meds; and my blood sugar is in tolerable levels with just diet and exercise....it feels great to be able to put on my shoes without passing out. oh; and don't forget about performing personal hygiene rituals, and how much easier it is now.. laugh.gif

That's awesome. Congrat's.  My wife lost 120 pounds in 2 years from just diet and excersice. She look's better now than when I first starting dating her at 17 years old. It is so easy to gain it back though. Got to watch what you eat always. 250 pounds to 130 now. Yes, I am a happy man, LOL.
