you can use dvdx 2.0 to watch dvd's without the m$ dvd playback kit

it's very simple, find the prog from the usual places, then create a folder in whatever partition you're using in your xbox, and put the files into that folder that are required for dvdx. then just edit your *.ini file to point to the program and presto enjoy dvd's without the playback kit.

probably evolution x isn't set to autostart dvds, and if it is - it probably is looking for dvdx which he hasn't installed yet.

if you already have the ms dvd kit, just edit to xboxdash for dvds
