Ok here is my problem I got everything hooked up and live works fine but when I try to stream media from the PC to the xbox it always says it can't find the computer. here is my setup
PC running Windows XP SP2 with windows media connect
network setup:
Eathernet cable from my cable modem goes into my netgear EN104tp Hub, from there I got a able running to the PC, the Xbox360 and my Xbox 1. (all cables are straight wired "patch" cables, the cable from the 360 to the hub is the one that came with it.)
Like I said I have no problems getting on live it's just trying to stream media. I downloaded that file of MS's website that installs Media connect but when it gets the step where it says "Authorizing xbox30" it tells me it could not find a 360. what am I doing wrong and yes I have the 360 on when I try to do this I haev it sitting on the dashboard.
