What's your game Fuzzy? Slayer is always classic but mixing it up once in awhile doesn't hurt. I've gotten to the point where I've beaten my friends with one hand only. It was king of the hill, but still I beat them.
I think this is going to become a halo bragging post.

Are you talking about playing over the internet via xbconnect or gamespy, or just lan? And if your talking xbconnect, are you the one doing the hosting? And if you are, try not hosting for awhile, you'll be humbled.
