how important are the cool pads on the bottom of the DVD drive?
 im asking because i picked up a clear dvd drive cover and since i have to remove the top. the bottom wont screw back on. there are two small rubber cool pads that wont stay on with out the oem case properly in place. can i remove them with out causing harm to the drive or do i have to cut away some of the case to see the mobo underneath?











is there a tut for posting pics and vids? yes i know im an idiot for asking. im a noob at everything!!!
