I been here for years, and can honestly say I've never heard of this. wow. It's seriously overheated/damaged in my opinion.

Yeah, might be some fried caps somewhere. could be anything really. I would try another ROL board if it was me but then I've got a box with over 200 ROL boards...

1 month or 3?

I was just thinking with my power rates here that would be nearly $60 if it was a 200 watt Xenon.

well I did another search and found people with issues similar to mine. I followed the troubleshooting guide here: http://diy.sickmods....-Eject_Pinouts/ and it seemed the power trace on the motherboard had an open. I found a small spot, no bigger than a speck, in the trace that is just missing the metal. I don't know if it overheated and that spot was defective and blew open but there was no burning or corrosion that I could see. Now I guess I'll just live with it because I can't solder well enough to try a fix on my own.
