Thinking Out Loud About Ways To Find Lost Dvd Key.

Something like 18 million trillion! It can't be done.

Only way to get DVD key off an Xbox motherboard is to JTAG or Glitch Hack the board.
I believe Glitch hack now works on all boards except Xenons so that's probably your best bet to get the key.

Yup there are only 3 ways to get the DVD key

1) JTAG
2) Reset glitch hack
3) Off the DVD drive itself or a firmware backup from the drive

I read a method for getting the key from a flashed drive on these forums about 2 months ago, I cannot find it all.

Annoying I emailed to a guy in my work but he's lost it too.
