Quick Noob Question

Ive got a banned 360 running iextreme 1.6.  I want to buy to buy forza 4.  Basically my question is will my modded firmware prevent me from playing any new retail games?

It should not prevent it. The limited exception is if you have a Samsung drive. If you're on an older dashboard, once you are required to update to a newer dashboard, there may be issues with flashed Samsung drives. These need to be flashed back to stock before updating the console, or the update will fail.
