Hitman Blood Money Ingame Saves

ingame saves in hitman blood money are gone after exiting the game. i usually play for short periods of time and i find it highly annoying to have to redo everything each time i've restarted the game. does anyone maybe know of a trick to save the savegames across game sessions?
