Zephyr's Fans Go Full Blast And Then 0020's.
« on: November 04, 2013, 09:56:00 PM »

Any repair attempts just done.?

Reflow ?  Reball ?  Heat gunning ?

0020 - can be either a dead power core to a Gpu.  Or the connection pins of the power core of the Gpu are not making good contact with their counterparts on the motherboard.

But you could also be having a false over heating.  If the heat sinks are not seated perfectly.

So - there is lots of room for variance given only what you have told us

No other repairs besides the X-Clamp repairs have been done. It doesn't show visual signs of needing a reflow/reball, so I wouldn't think it would need it. The console does boot (sometimes) when I press down hard enough on the CPU heatsink and boot it up. Any ideas?

how is your x-clamp configuration? Do you use the original MS x-clamps? Some pics of the mainboard would help. Pics of the clamps and the GPU area.

No ... don't jack with the Ram chips

You'll just add another problem on the stack
