Yea I guess u don't play RPGs and Platform games. I am a platform freak and RPG... PS2 is all I need but I like xbox.

I don't want to call anyone a fanyboy since this is an xbox forum, but no matter if someone is a fan boy or not, PS2 has better games than any other console PERIOD.

I have both 2.

The Xbox is my fav, But some PS2 only games like killzone, are amazing.
Why not get both, Everyone says pick one or the other. Why settle for half. You can mod both, Granted the PS2 seems a bit harder to mod with my experience.

I prefer the Xbox.  It has much more potential.  My PS2 just collects dust.

I have all 3 systems...I play Gamecube and PS2 MUCH more.   sure i love my modded xbox, but all i use it for now(after finishing kotor and fable) is for emulators and Team Ninja games.  frankly, most hardcore xbox fans that i've met have been playing  games for a short period of time, only care about sports titles or Halo, bash anything that comes out on other systems regardless and generally don't know anything.

I used to have the Gamecube and the PS2, but I traded in all of my Gamecube stuff to get an Xbox.  I love the modded aspect of it with the emulators and that it can actually play CDs and DVDs unlike the Cube.  Not to mention the fact that Nintendo is just destroying the company with their horrible hardware design and relying solely on their franchise games to pull them through.  The PS2 is great if you like RPGs and racing games.  If MS gets a contract with Square-Enix the Xbox will be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
