Is there any way to change the controls used to reset my box....It does this for all kinds of games I play even with the IN GAME RESET is disabled.  I can't seem to find a way to completely disable this.  It gets really annoying during Fight Night Rd3.

Im playing on a X2 Lite modded xbox.  SB always used to work fine but today i go to play (after a long hiatus and moving to bosotn) and the game starts fine.  when ever the ignition button is pressed, during gameplay or title screen, it resets the game itself.  not the xbox.  i have no clue if its software or a hardware prob.   i dont think its a loose wire cuase the controller cant reset the game, that i know of.  and i have tried turning off both IGR in all 3 places and turning the mod-chip off as well as just booting from the MS dashboard.  ANYONE KNOW WHATS WRONG?  TIA.

Are you started your Xbox with no mod turned on?  It doesn't matter if you turn your mod off after booting, the bios stays loaded until you turn it off.

The same happened to me.

The solution for me was to push the right stick (targeting) max forward BEFORE pushing ignition, then it won't reset. You can test it at the menus, as the reset will happen there too.

Sounds funky? I think so too, but it works.

Oh, and my mod is ON, so don't bother disabling it.

I know exactly what causes this, as I had the same problem.

You need to disable EvolutionX's "IGR" (In Game Reset).  That screws with a lot of games, especially Steel Battalion.
